| Ear Spools. A variety of earspools have been found in the mounds. They are made from stone, wood covered with copper, and clay. The original spools vary in size from about 1.5 inches to over 3 inches in diameter. These are clay. The large ones are 1.5 inches diameter the small ones 3/4 of an inch. |
